Disclaimer: I am sure that someday they would ask me. I only wish they do it before Oracle include this feature in any of the release :)

Oracle 11g Installation Listener error

During the installation of Windows Vista, you may receive the following error:

"Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the following error. Listener is not up. Start the listener and run EM configuration assistant again....."


One solution for the problem is disabling UAC (User Acount Control ) from Control Panel->Users for the user which you are using for Oracle.

Forms 6i is desupported for a long time now and therefore no longer available for downloading.
But do think about moving to the ADF.
